Exceptional Story for November: Older, Not Wiser

By Sara Veal, October 30, 2020 · Exceptional Friendship Fallen London

Terror hits London! A team of crack cat-burglars menaces the city by night, making off with all manner of valuables. The constables are baffled: no one can identify a single suspect. Who are these mystery criminals? And why do they leave behind a scent distinctly redolent of peach?

This has been one of my favorite exceptional stories in months! Mechanically simple, but that's because it's really focused, and the choices you make feel like they have a very earned impact on the outcome. Plus the various descriptions of elderly thieves at work are delightful.
